Taketo Sano

I am a postdoctoral researcher at RIKEN iTHEMS since April 2022. I received my PhD in 2022 from the University of Tokyo under the supervision of Prof. Mikio Furuta.

My research field is low-dimensional topology, and particularly interested in Khovanov homology theory and its application.

I have worked as a software engineer for 9 years, prior to entering the graduate school in 2016. I am a father of two children, a 9-year-old girl and a 0-year-old boy (as of 2024).
